Bastion Strategies' founder Sam Carroll brings to his work over 15 years of leadership experience in retail marketing, business development, and product management, a lifelong passion for apparel and the communication of culture, and a longstanding commitment to sustainability in work and in life.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Carleton College (MN), a Master of Public Policy with a focus on Business and Economics from the University of Michigan, and a Certificate in Product Management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
